Martial artists that make vocal sounds to go along with their moves, e.g. "Hua!", "Hi-ya!", "Cha!" and "Ni-ya!". Seriously, what's the point of this? One would think the element of surprise would be more important.

Tapping the bad guy on the shoulder so he turns around to be punched. How about just choke him from behind?
