In the Indiana Jones scene, you see the gun being drawn and fired and the other guy immediately falling all in one take with no edit cut and both men on screen throughout. So either that was planned ahead (perhaps as a subsequent quicky retake after the initial improv by HF that didn't get into the movie), or the other actor is the real improv genius here. He would have had to figure out what HF was doing and how to play along with it in very little time.
