I can't see a ball being remotely controlled, as the site claims. And there isn't exactly compelling evidence there.

My brother wins basketball pools based on this premise, though. He assumes that there is score fixing and cheating going on, and makes his picks based on that. He gets very good results from it (in a popular national pool, second place last year, I think fifth the year before, second three years ago, et cetera -- he'd have won last year, but he forgot to make one pick).

This method doesn't seem to work for soccer, however, because my random picks tend to be just as good as his picks. That may be an argument against cheating (at least, in English Premier)... or it might be that they cheat differently.
