Thanks, TooSeek. I will surely get it. Two of my favorites are “From the Earth to the Moon” and “The Right Stuff”. Have watched them both countless times. (Although I always resent “TRS” treatment of Gus Grissom’s flight – it just wasn’t interesting enough that astronauts were “steely eyed missile men” who never flinched … BORING .

It was unfair to play up the rumor that he lost his nerve over a sinking capsule. Don’t think it happened … and if drowning (rather than dieing in space) did not appeal to him … can’t blame him.

Really doubt he would have been slated for (the first)? Apollo mission if NASA found him lacking in any respect .
