Seeming
convincing to throngs of laymen who have no desire or means to authenticate his methods, is the mode by which Jack White continues to hold an audience.
If he lacked the ability to warp (and therefore misrepresent) relatively complex events into easily digestible nuggets for the masses, no one would know his name. As with all ideological HBs, it's not loyalty to truth that compels them; it's figuring out how to remain relevant.
Keeping his audience is priority one. A devotion to truth through the scientific process isn't even in his top 20.
