Re the Earth, anything can be blown up with the proper application of high explosives.

If the globe goes, then that's it, your worries are over. If it doesn't then it's a different scenario.

Plus there are always comets to worry about. One would have no problem destroying the Earth, as is shown in this technical drawing.
