Jerry has a problem reacting in a "way" that is respectable
particularly when he is shown to be wrong.
Example...
Jerry got it into his head that the Huygens probe was going to crash due to "variable gravity". When the probe
didn't crash, he "could" have simply admited that he was wrong, but no...he had to go on and on about how the descent was not "as it should be" in an effort to "save face" with his "variable gravity" idea.
That's the way a
pseudo-scientist, reacts...not a scientist.
