I like to sing. I started singing when I was very young, and “wrote” my first song when I was 10. (I didn’t write it down, but I composed the melody and the lyrics and memorized it). When karaoke became popular, I began singing in karaoke clubs in southern California. I sang in five different clubs in Las Vegas.

I have had my own karaoke show for about 5 years at various local clubs, though I don’t currently have a venue. But I still sing with various local bands occasionally.

I also started playing harmonica when I was very young. I think that has helped me with my singing, especially singing in key. I have perfect pitch, that is I can hit any note perfectly. I attribute that to playing an instrument that is always exactly on key. Of course, that ability is a great help when singing.
