Basso profundo here. Sang in the chorus in college with an occasional solo. Most challenging piece was Ives' Three Harvest Home Chorales. Yee-ha! re the polyrhythms we had to master.

Just to see if the voice still has the range I'll tackle the opening recitative for the bass soloist from the Finale of Beethoven's Ninth every once in a while. Hitting the eighth and quarter notes on that low A (octave and a third below middle C) at the end of freudenvollere is always a challenge and fun.

Never gave that song about the Italian cowboy ("Rocky Raccoona") much of a try.
