There will always be conspiracy theorists and hoax believers as long as there are people left who wish to blame their insecurities, incomprehensions, failings, and frustrations on something other than themselves and the ordinary whims of fate to which we are all subject, and who therefore will always be in need of a scapegoat to relieve them of their personal responsibilities, no matter how irrational that particular animal might be.
