My expectation now is that some schools, hospitals and possibly some staff canteens and some restaurants may pull the plug on serving bacon on the grounds they do not want to be at risk from a theoretical law suit brought by cancer sufferes because they were served bacon.
If I was a catering manager in a public institution I probably would pull the plug, to avoid possible litigation and so we could say we were being responsible, such is the nature of our litigious society
