We have two problems:

1. People are too fat.

2. Pigs are too fat which contributes to the first problem.

I think the solution is simple. Let people eat all the bacon they want but with the condition that they have to catch the pig first. This way both people and pigs will lose weight. For really fat people (or really fat pigs) we will grease the pig first so it will require extra effort. However it would probably be best to use a non-edible grease. For extreme cases will will let the pigs chase people.
