I know why she's my favorite adult character. She's steady. She's pragmatic. She's utterly casual about her competence. She's compassionate without being over-protective. And she's scrupulously fair in her dealings with all students, not just those of her house. She's the sort of person I could come to trust implicitly and absolutely.

The world needs more people of her caliber.
