Hi All

I was thinking of making a motorised Dobson 'rocker cradle' for my 12" reflector to allow star tracking.
It it worth the trouble and can I use it for astrophotography?
I have looked at several designs and have a fair grasp of what is required.
I also suppose using good quality bearings instead of 'skateboard wheels' might allow smoother running!

Or should I just invest in a good motorised EQ mount?
