Actually there's not even an "alignment", unless one considers a gap of over 5 degrees (equal to 10+ full Moon diameters) to be an "exact" alignment. Check out my prior post on this subject.
The doomsayers/money makers have been in such a rush to cash in on this thing that they didn't even bother to see (or purposely decided to ignore) whether the basis for their claims had any foundation in fact.
It doesn't.
