Just to add on to what Halcyon Dayz said, that's why they are called UNIDENTIFIED Flying Objects. I can say that I have seen things in the sky that I wasn't sure what they were. But, it is a big leap to go from "I don't know what that is" to "It must be from another planet". Without hard evidence that is actually is from another planet, then it just has to stay
unidentified.
In the two fields I work in (work as a chemist, volunteer as a nature guide), I have learned a very important leason, it is fine to say "I don't know". People do that in science all the time.
