Thanks for the kind words. The DSI II was a budget driven compromise. A DSLR would have provided better resolution and image size but at the cost of processing flexibility and gain. Oh dear, I may be in trouble now. I am hoping that as I learn to use the drizzle function I can increase the resolution and image size. I am really rather suprised at the quality it can produce as long as you don't try the increase the image size too much. My major limiting factor at the moment is the shocking focuser on my LXD75 SN. If anyone knows of a good replacement designed for this scope I would love to know about it. Anyway... gettiing off topic here. Please feel free to play with the image, I can post the original filtered stacks if you wish.
