Yes, that's what led to the quote revision. Some of the more "senior" members can probably tell you better than I, but there's certian "trigger words" that really give away what kind of poster you're dealing with. That seems to be one of them (obviously, depending on the context).
I also get enjoyment out of phrases that include both the words "fact" and "believe", which tend to end up something like:
"It's a
fact that the face on mars was built by Buggs Bunny after he made a wrong turn at Albequercy and ended up at Mars instead of Egypt. I
believe this is true because you can see the bunny tracks that Nasa tried to cover-up in this photo."
Something that's really a fact shouldn't have to be
believed, it should just be
known.
