I don’t know if they did or didn’t but I did and I offered the owners of ATS an exclusive on it in exchange for hosting it on ATS for me (as opposed to on my personal web site) in order to protect my privacy. I figured they hosted John Lear’s copy of the image so why not mine? This offer was refused and when I announced on ATS that I had a better copy and it was refused I was banned in this post here by the owner of ATS Mark Allin (aka “Springer”)…

Correct. My 450 posts (and my threads
along with the other members posts in them including one particularly lengthy one containing potential new evidence unfavorable to the Roswell crash proponents) were deleted just before the public banning incident above occurred… allegedly my posts were deleted by accident when the founder of ATS, Simon Grey, was “fixing” my account after I had emailed him because I had been “mysteriously” (silently) locked out.

As you can see above beginning on page 158 of the
"John Lear's Moon Pictures on ATS" thread, my original account was eventually restored late last year and I did get a chance to present my evidence (although with the loss of my privacy and anonymity) but it was for the most part ignored by Lear’s supporters… apparently it doesn’t qualify as hoax in their mind and the thread continues…
By the way, for a laugh, here’s the post I got banned for just recently in the John Lear thread
"Discovery Launches at 11:38 EDT. Expects to Reach and Dock With ISS in 44 Hours!"…

That was attempted by myself (using the alias “Saviour Of The Real”) and a number of other ATS members but the thread quickly degenerated… posts were deleted and the thread locked so we gave up.
Anyway, thanks for your interest but I’m afraid this discussion is kind of off-topic for BAUT… I really just wanted to point out in support of Jay's post that John Lear’s claim that he somehow received an “untouched” image of the Moon was bunk and the management of ATS is more interested in making money than the truth… I think their motto of “Deny Ignorance” should be changed to “Embrace, Exploit, and Profit From Ignorance”.
