Default Mars

Hi all.
I took this image of Mars some time around Oct I think. I just found the folder that I put it in but there is no date. I know I should have a better time/date system going on. That is one of my new years things to do.

I used Al Paslow's old orange celestron 8'' which has tracking motors and auto focuser, and the sac 7 ccd.

I remember it was not a very clear night and my alignment was not the best. Mars was dancing around alot but I managed to take 48 short avi's, 6,877 frames. I ran them all through registax 4 and grabed 200 good frames to play with.

I cleaned the final image up using photoshop cs2, photofilter and noiseware.

I am packing this scope up tonight and sending it back to its owner because tomorrow the Vixen VMC200L with Star book will be here. I know their is going to be a very large learning cuve going on here for a while, but I hope to have the scope up and running soon. Clear skies to ALL. Paul
