Your absolutely right, FriedPhoton. It's a condition built into our brains by natural selection, and shared throughout all animal species which have to modify their behavior depending upon environmental concerns.
It's no surprise that nearly all humans gain weight during the fall and winter months, and loose it during the spring and summer months, despite the fact that in today's society, the shelves remain well-stocked throughout the year.
Apparently, the grocers didn't read our genetic charts!
Oh, well.
We remain far more a part of our biological environment than many of us feel comfortable realizing.
