Default Advice, Help or simple discussion - Astrochemistry

I am currently in my first year of sixth form at a secondary school. The subjects i am taking are History, Statistics, Biology and Chemistry and in these i am predicted A's and B's. I have a fascination with astronomy and the universe, yet throughout GCSE i found myself bored to the teeth with the same old basic physics lessons on forces and pivots. Therefore i did not take it at A-level.

Yet now that i am beginning to consider my future, i realise that astronomy would be a fascinating thing to have as a career. But without a physics degree, i cannot study astrophysics as i would lack even the simplest of knowledge relating to it.

Then, as i was browsing through an astophysics website, i discovered the concept and career of astrochemistry. What a fascinating prospect. I was simply wondering if any helpful soul could help me with learning more about this? Are there courses at university for this subject? Or would i have to have a degree in chemistry before applying for a job as an astrochemist?

Any information or help will be much appreciated
