It's the only such winged craft that takes people into orbit, but there are other spacecraft people use to enter space and return.

Besides the soon-ending US space shuttle, the other two currently active orbital manned craft national programs are Russia's Soyuz (Wikipedia), frequently taking passengers to the ISS, and China's Shenzhou (Wikipedia).
