Hey! I read that same book! Back in the 70's! Did you go to South City High? (no, I went sober...)

Though if you recall most of the advice they gave is the exact same lecture they give people on those gorilla encounter safaris, less the pretending to forage part.

Though if I was alone, spotted and obviously outmanned I just might pretend to forage so they think I'm just part of the local fauna. Hopefully they wouldn't recognize clothing as an artifice. Though I think mooing would be a bit much.
