The answer is no.

Consider the Great Amount of Distance between the planets.
Also how quickly the planets move.

As soon as the are aligned, they are out of alignment` again a moment later.

At the distances involved there is nowhere near enough gravitational pull or time to pull the planets into eachother.

If that was the case, the planets gravitational influence would act on eachother during any passing.
