Yes; that was my point. Follow the bouncing assumptions... this thread (meaning the Cosmos story) is scarier than the other thread (meaning the BA story)

I do like a thrill as much as the next guy, but I'm not sure everyone does.
I hate that tone in the stories myself especially because of the way it impacts the casual reader... On the other hand, it does give us something to amuse ourselves with, by digging for the "real" story.
