Did you read about the theory proposed, that it is in fact, the time dilation caused by the mass in the 'bubble walls' of the large scale universe, that mean that time in the 'voids' has actually run out to near 18 billion years for the age of the universe. Meaning that the red shift doppler effect has been incorrectly calculated... and so no need for dark energy. I don't know... just parroting (and probably mashing...
