1.I heard that some people think that 2 asteroids will strike the Earth on August 12. Is this true? I don't think that this will happen, but I'm just asking to be safe.

2.I've heard that Mars will be close to the Earth on August 27. I just want to know that when this happens, is this event expected to case anything catastrophic?
