GreekAstronomy. nice job. I love these babies. When you get to pick one of those absurd ways to exit this world...I want a supernova in an orientation antipodal to Kilimanjaro, timed such that it goes off when I get there to climb it. Now if you could also have it occur from an O/B star from the Centaurus/Sco association passing absurdly close to the Earth, the prompt neutrino burst would trebuchet the entire climbing party up over the mountain..knickers and all...kind of like going out like Andy in Dr. Strangelove. Of course the blastwave would not be nearly as much fun...but that's ten times slower moving....so you'd get a bit to think about it.
