If you mean to the system, it could be worse; I was once on a board with no OTB section
or PM system. If you mean the underground social network seems unnecessary to you, I've found it
very useful, and not just for my occasional chats with a moderator. I have used PMs to let off steam on more than one occasion, simply because, if I didn't do it in private, I would in public and get banned--or else I'd continue venting to my friends, which means explaining the entire setup of the situation and reminding them who the person I'm venting about even is.
Also, I like your new avatar. It does kind of lose something in that level of compression, though.
