Some folks have had a
corpus callosotomy. That severely reduces the communication between the hemispheres. I believe I remember one story where a fellow started strangling his wife with one hand, and used the other hand to pull it off of her. Apparently, he was of two minds on the subject. (And, no, he wasn't Dr. Strangelove.)
