Have you ever "fallen in love" with a fictional character you absolutely did not expect to?

Mine?

Anakin Skywalker.

Knew of this fictional character for years of course, before we were truly introduced to him in the prequels.

Arrogant, brash punk with a take-charge attitude. Conflicted bad boy. By turns tender and caring, fiery and challenging. And it doesn't hurt that he is drop-dead gorgeous (prior to Mustafar of course).

I fell head over heels in love with Anakin. Still am.

Luke's father?? Who became Darth Vader?? Do tell!

Never foresaw it but don't regret it. Anakin puts the beat in my heart.

And fortunately I have a friend (who is ironically a bit younger than I), who is a lot like Anakin. And I'm very sweet for him.
