Ok, how about this: The floors have a system of thousands of tiny venturis underneath, with high speed air passing through them. These would have taps in the small part to create a suction at floor level and the floor would really be a screen. With a whole lot of small suctions over the area the size of a foot, perhaps you could counter enough of the 1/6th g to make one appear to walk normally. It'd probably be so noisy that there wouldn't be much conferencing going on though.

Eh, maybe we should stick with velcro.
