About the beta rays from this RTG - could they been captured and induce into a circuit? Spacecraft use thermocouples but is there some why to slow down and capture the beta rays and create a circuit? This would be in addition to the boilers and turbines, to maximize the efficiency.
It is nice that 90Sr only produces beta rays. The collector might use an electrostatic charge and save weight on shielding.
