Personally, I like my current interface with the world.

VR is all fine and dandy, but it would still be a simulation.

I forget the exact line, but remember a quote about true beauty being found not in the perfection, but in the flaw.

As flawed as our fleshy bodies may be, I'll take mine any day over a 'perfect' brain-machine interface.
