Wow, we're practically neighbors! I'm on the edge of the Highlands in Kennydale. I agree that stability at Rattlesnake can be an issue, though I figured it wasn't any worse than anywhere else on this side of the state. At least it's reasonably dark considering its proximity to Seattle.

In summer I usually go about 20 miles east of the pass to get to a darker site (near Easton).
