Bud, Miller, Coors, all the name brands. When I moved to OC in '02 from Santa Monica, those 24oz cost $1.39. I guess demographics. Right now, I prefer Steel Reserve. I like the kick and at parties, it's so gross no one else will touch it.

Just curious, how much were you earning back then. I would move furniture during the summer and winter breaks when I was in college. I got ten dollars and tips under the table. So spending two dollars on beer would be about ten minutes worth of work. Right now, a 12 pack of the really cheap beer costs about 5 to 7 dollars, just under the minimum wage in California (8 an hour), was the minimum wage back then just over a dollar?
