First, Big Bang does not cover where the Universe came from, its origins or creation.

Big Bang covers the rapid expansion of the Universe.

We do not know much about the creation or origin of the Universe.
It's possible that this universe fissioned off another, or that the material of the Universe existed but in an entirely different state.

Until we have more information- it's a pretty open speculation as to the actual Origin of the Universe.
