Apparently you did not grasp every word Warren just wrote. He was talking about the roughly synchronized
rotation of Venus, presenting nearly the same face toward Earth in retrograde rotation at successive inferior conjunctions. This rotation was totally unknown until picked up on radar in the 1960s. The 8-year pentagram pattern is beside the point here.
