I am leaning towards it is a big interesting rock. There is no reason to assume that an alien ship would look like any shape we would find familiar. And there are crashed aircraft all over the earth.

Some aren't crashed, just decommisioned. There are fields full of decommisioned craft. We loot the useful stuff and leave the hulks all the time.

Junkyards full of big rusting junk everywhere. Sometimes expense of recovery just aint worth it.

No reason to assume our logic would apply to an unknown.

Look at the clementine photos. The best they can offer the public is blurry 1 pixel = 2 km. That makes an interesting rock about 2 pixels. So poor they are waste of time to look at. Within a hundred miles of the moon and expect me to believe thats the best they can do. A decent 10 inch backyard could do better than that. Should have mounted an amature scope on it.

Just think that there are better pixs than what is given public release.
