When in doubt about the status of the Earth you can always check International Earth-Destruction Advisory Board. Currently the status is Green (Earth not destroyed) and the Geocide count (that tracks the number of times the Earth has been destroyed) is zero. So far all is well.
Actually, that site does have some reasonable presentations of various ways the Earth might be destroyed and discusses their plausibility.
