Yep -- "Emily" was the character's name, I believe.

It's no surprise you didn't notice it, IMO, actually. That's how intense this episode was (and the whole show most of the time). Watching, you get so into the story you just don't notice things. That was a woman dying of cancer, not Nana Visitor. It just doesn't register until the excitement dies down.
