But I'd like to think of it this way: I think it's an even longer shot to have a star that's a virtual twin of our own sun be our nearest stellar neighbor... and yet that's what we have in Alpha Centauri (although its part of a triplet... A is amazingly similar to our sun, just a bit more luminous but spectral classification is identical, and B is also somewhat sunlike, just a bit cooler K-type.)
