OK, lemme be a bit more constructive and less adverserial:
We only ridicule people who are
willfully ignorant. After all, everyone is ignorant of something!
But when you explain 10,000 times
why something is safe (not just vague generalisations and admonishments to trust scientists) and yet people insist on ignoring those explanations, well ... some of us ain't all that keen on playing Sisyphus, ya know?
