Yep, almost a month ago, topic
LHC Rap. That was... interesting. By the way, thanks for the defense. I selfishly used you like a shield. That was one new member that didn't appear to come here for the fun.
Wow, I still can't fathom how someone could be triggered into a seeming fury by the comment:
I remain so fascinated by that experience that I've just got to repeat it here and see how Sticks reacts.
It's long, 100+ lines.
Hear me? Hey, all lovers of "The LHC Rap", it's long! 100+ lines! There. I said it again.
Anyone else offended? Is that not factual? Doesn't that succinctly describe an important aspect of the work, giving people more knowledge of the experience that is being recommended? How can someone think that providing a brief excerpt and noting the piece's duration makes for pointless commentary?
Am I demeaning the effort to call it long, or does that in some way insult the person who recommended it?
The Beatles' "Hey Jude" was long. McLean's "American Pie" was long. "LHC Rap" is long.
And, "LHC Rap" is neither quite as long nor quite as good as the first two works. Right?
