The word 'forever' should not be used. It implies things will never change. That is not true.
Change is a certainty. Your opening comment is also misguided as it too suggests cause or perpose... That is not prov-en or known.
This universe may be one of millions or a mistake... The facts are unclear. It is here, we are here. We know not why. Informed speculation is not proof, but it is scientific.
