Hi all, I was at home with the flu today, but I got the scope out for a small while and firstly got Venus being occulted by the moon. You can see the gibbous phase in part here...

Then later after 5pm, I shot the reappearance widerfield, I'm glad I did, It was a spectacular sight watch Venus reappear from the bright limb of the Moon through my 15x70mm binoculars. Jupiter can be seen with it's moons top right.
