Of course it is. Their original decision to launch the satellite and their ongoing decision to continue the programming is dependent on people being paying to use it.
Bottom line, Chuck - you are intentionally deriving a direct benefit from others' labors and/or expenditures, without compensating them, and without their permission. That's unethical, that's wrong, that's stealing. That they don't realize it (or have any
way of realizing it) matters not one whit.
