While I don't see any evidence that the LHC is any real danger whatsoever---and I thoroughly support its operation---it does concern me that so much hostility is shown to anyone even daring to ask the question. What happens one day when some experiment
could destroy life on Earth?
As I think I said in the beginning of this unending thread, some means for addressing such concerns should be found and agreed upon, internationally. "Trust us" doesn't work for me and shouldn't work for any of you.
