Default July 22 Solar Eclipse; need advice on how to see it

I'm interested in a good view of the July 22 Solar Eclipse and Hawaii will only give about 10 % coverage.

I need some advice on places not far from Hawaii that will give good views.

Are there inexpensive flights to the Marshall Islands or Wake Island? Are those areas part of the U.S.?

Would Guam be a good pick?

Incidentally, the Totality Path passes VERY near Mt. Everest (27.98 N, 86.92 E)! The Totality looks to be about 98 %!

Imagine being at the top of Everest at 29,000 feet and seeing Totality above you...

I'd imagine at 29,000 feet up the seeing would be incredible...

at 29,000 feet would you see more of the Corona?
